Grillin' & Chillin' Blog Hop ~

Welcome to the last stop in the Grillin' and Chillin' Blog Hop. If you arrived from Haidee then you are right on track. If not please jump on over to Lisa's blog, our hostess for this hop, so you don't miss any of the stops along the way.

This blog hop is a one day hop that is jammed pack full of some amazing projects. We have had so much fun creating this hop and we have a wonderful line up with some oh-so-talented creators. You will see some lovely projects having to do with cook outs and BBQ themes and have a chance to win some blog candy along the way!

We have 2 wonderful sponsors for this hop! SVG Attic is sponsoring a $15.00 Gift Card for the SVG Attic store and ScrappyDew is sponsoring a $20.00 Gift Card for the ScrappyDew store.

I made this card for my husband's birthday since he IS king of the grill! I used Lawn Fawn Let's BBQ stamp and die set along with a little piglet sticker.  I added Stickles to the grill grates for a burning charcoal effect and the clouds/grass are punches.
Thanks so much for taking the time to hop with us! Your time and comments are always appreciated therefore I have blog candy up for grabs!!
Congratulations to Krista's Paper Cafe!!! Please send your mailing address to msmith38652@gmail.com and I will get your surprise right out!
Simply leave  a comment then check back right here on Wednesday July 29th to see if you are the winner! Hope you have a crafty day :-)

Lawnscaping Challenge #109 ~ Sparkle & Shine!

After 108 challenges I finally decided to jump right in and participate! Lawn Fawn has so many wonderful products....it's tough figuring out which ones to use. The challenge was to use anything that makes your project "sparkle and shine"..........

The frame was cut using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card die. The background was created with DCWV glitter paper. The planes, dots and sentiment are from the Lawn Fawn Flying By stamp set that I received from the lovely and talented Annette.  I stamped the planes with Lawn Fawn Fish Tank ink on the Lawn Fawn Beachside 6x6 paper pad. As you can see....the larger plane is doing some acrobatics (it's upside down) lol
The sweet birds and flowers are from the Lawn Fawn A Birdie Told Me Stamp/Die sets. I sponged some Lawn Fawn Wild Rose, Fake Tan & Mermaid ink onto white cardstock before I stamped the flower images.

I think it's still missing something where the hillside meets the sky so I will keep this open as a work in progress until an idea comes to me :-)

Ellen Hutson has generously offered up a $25 gift certificate to the online store!

If you are interested in entering, this challenge is accepting entries until July 15th. Good luck!
