Fantabulous Cricut Challenge ~ Seeing Red

Image
This week's fun challenge is to make something with at least 1 Cricut cut using the color red (pink or white)! This cute guitar image is from the Cricut Spring Holiday Cards cartridge. I have had this one for probably a year and never used it but I love it! So many cute ideas.  There's still time to link up your project here! Thanks for stopping by :-)

Challenge #3 ~ Sketch #210
I used the Cricut Create a Critter 2 cartridge for the bunny/tree and papers from The Great Outdoors. Finished off with ribbon, brads and a sentiment from Hero Arts Live Life stamp set.  Check out Operation Write Home's website for tons of great sketches and tutorials! Click on the "Get Busy" tab.
Thanks Sandy Allnock for a weekend of great challenges! Best of luck to the Seahawks & Broncos....They are both winners in my book!

Challenge #2 ~ ODBD - Masculine cards using the color Brown
The nature scene was created using the Outdoor Man Cricut Cartridge. The "gravel" was created with an embossing folder and the clouds are from a Fiskars punch. I think it needs a little bike or squirrel or something....what would YOU do differently to this card? Faux stitching perhaps?
Using Nancy's great tips for using the bone folder, I have begun folding my cards the opposite way and she's right.....it does create a cleaner crease in the card base! The trees looked a little plain so I made lines on them with the bone folder to add a little interest. Looks pretty good!
Thanks for stopping by ~ Hope you have a great day!

Welcome to the 3-day OWH Card Bowl Challenge! It’s Superbowl weekend, and we can’t let the men have all the fun, right?

Participate in challenges all three days by making a card and linking it up this weekend – and you’ll be entered in a drawing for a flat rate envelope filled with stampy goodness! Challenges can be completed anytime over the weekend – winners will be picked late Sunday night.
Challenge #1 ~ Masculine Ode to the teams! Make a masculine card – for men, teens, or little boys – in any OWH-approved theme. And make your card somehow reflect either the Seahawks or Broncos. Use their colors, something about their city, their mascot – get creative! It doesn’t have to be a sports/football-related card.
Since my husband is from Oxford, MS (approx 45 miles from here) we have to root for Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos! Their colors are blue, orange and white and the mascot is a horse of course (tee hee). This cute little image is a freebie from Whoopsie Daisy, cut with a…
