OWH Mid Week Throwdown ~ Easter Cards

The MWT comes up every Wednesday and these cards were created with last week's challenge ~ Easter cards!

For this card, I used the Cricut - Create A Critter 2 cartridge for the chocolate bunny & Tulip. The face on the flower is a Peachy Keen Everyday Character stamp & the sentiment is from the Cards TV Easter Punnies stamp set. I used a Fiskars punch for the clouds and a Cuttlebug embossing folder to create the swirls. The egg is a wooden stamp with no label, colored with Copics. The green paper is embossed with flowers and I used Martha Stewart scissors along the top to create the grass.
Speaking of Cardz TV stamps ~ I have been watching Miss Mary's tutorials on YouTube and finally decided to try some of her oh-so-cute stamp sets. I love her clean and simple style and she uses a lot of Cricut pieces which encourages me to use my Cricut more! Here are a few cards using the CardzTV Rejoice stamp set.

The image is from La La Land Crafts. I added some freckles but now that I look at it....kinda looks like he has chicken pox lol. and the paper is Bazzill Basics - Kraft. The ovals were created with Spellbinders dies.
The solid papers are Bazzill and the patterned paper is from American Crafts - My Girl. I punched the circles out of the layer prior to adhering together and cut the sentiment with a Spellbinders die.
This pretty paper is from Embellish by Dena - Little Azalea, the sentiment was cut with a Spellbinders die and I used a Fiskars border bumch for the decorative trim.
I think the embossed paper is from David Tutera, the ribbon is May Arts and of course the sentiment was cut with a Spellbinders die.
More paper from Embellish by Dena - Little Azalea, the border and sentiment were cut with, you guessed it, Spellbinders dies and I used a Viva Decor pearl pen along the edges.
Same details as above but I used adhesive gems instead of the pearl pen.
This paper is from Pebbles - Sunny Side, the dies are Spellbinders (I know...you are shocked) and the cute ribbon is by Simplicity.
The CardzTV stamps are the perfect size for OWH cards. The quality is amazing and I get a perfect image every time.....even the 1st time I used them. I hope you will stop by her blog and check them out.

OWH Sketch 207 ~

I spent 2 days re-organizing my craft room, going through my scraps getting rid of bits and pieces I was hoarding! So...when the new sketch came out this week, I couldn't wait to get started! I found these cute little stickers at the dollar store.

I made the resolution to learn how to take better photos so they would be true to color. I actually removed a book from the shelf which has rested there for proooobably 4 years! Step 1 complete....yay me! LOL

I skimmed through it last night and learned a little bit about Aperture and the F stop. I took a quit shot this morning using the aforementioned knowledge. I like the exposure, the background is clean but the card seems to be warped. I assume that I had the camera too close to the card. Will keep trying and hopefully by the end of the year, I will be taking beautiful pictures. If you have any suggestions, websites, books, etc....feel free to share them below!

Hope you have a crafty day :-)
