OWH Midweek Throwdown - Color Challenge

This week's challenge is to use the colors cantaloupe and pistachio... 2 of my favorite color combos!
My awesome husband is out of town a lot! I came home from work this week to find an oblong box at my door. The big sticker on the side read "bundle kit" so I knew right away it was either a Silhouette Cameo or Cricut Explore. I had been researching them for a while and didn't care which one it was lol! It was a Cameo and I couldn't wait to cut something.....anything! So, I thought I would try the inlaid die technique that Sandy showed us. You cut 2 of the same image and interchange the parts. Seems really tedious but with the right tools, it's really quick and easy! Disregard the "you ar" at the top of my cutting mat. If I had read the directions I would have seen there was a "load cutting mat" option and a "load media" option. Apparently, I chose the wrong one first. lolol
I made the mistake of mounting it on white paper. When the extra pieces from the "e" and "o" were removed, it was just a big white space so I decided to leave them in.
Here are the cards for the MWT color challenge. The papers are from the American Crafts - Hip Hip Hooray Paper Pad. The sentiment is from the OWH Hero Arts Stamp Set LP279. The cute little animal brad came from Eyelet Outlet.
I used a button brad on this one to hold the ribbon in place.
I am off to see what I can use the other inlaid die piece for! Hope you have a crafty day!
