OWH Virtual Card Making Party - Challenges 1-5

Paper: DCWV - Winter Magic Matstack
Dies: Spellbinders - Curved Rectangles, Squares, Classic Scalloped Squares
Sentiment: Cindy Echtinaw - Scent My Cards
Ink: Hampton Art - Studio G
Gems: Hampton Art - Ki Memories
Snowflakes & Foam Tape

Seems rather odd making winter cards while it's 99.9 degrees here in Mississippi. Christmas will be here before you know it so this is a perfect opportunity to be creative. Hope you will join in on the fun! It all starts here......

I used an Owl stamp sitting on a Wooden branch & he is stopping in to say Hoot!
Triple Die Technique
The foil paper was really difficult to photograph. You can see it a bit better below. My sweet husband came up with the sentiment.

Love card using the sketch provided
 Challenge 5
Masking Tape Technique

The green gems are awkwardly placed because there were inks splotches on the die from a previous project. I had not tried this technique before but I am so glad I had the challenge. It wasn't nearly as hard (or messy) as I expected.

OWH Sketch 183, MWT & My Favorite Things ~

I felt so accomplished by using every stamp in the Paper Smooches stamp set I thought I would do it again! Today's post is all about the My Favorite Things - From the Bottom of my Heart set which I received in my amazingly overstuffed OWH fundraiser package! If they ever have another one, be sure to get in on it because it's totally worth it! Great cause, great win right?

OWH Sketch #183 ~

I stamped this image on the back of the black and pink patterned papers (Recollections - All Girl) and trimmed aka fussy cut the pieces that I needed. Finishing touches include Offray ribbon, a Spare Parts brad and heart and circle punches.

Mid Week Throwdown ~ Use punches
I have seen so many cute punch art designs on Pinterest I couldn't wait to try this. If you're not familiar with punch art, check out my board for some awesome inspiration!
I used the My Mind's Eye - Stella Rose paper pack and OWH sketch #183 for this one.
Googly eyes and an action wobble really make this a fun little guy.
The key came from a jewelry charm purchased from Hobby Lobby. These are brand new stamps and I used the eraser technique but the stamped sentiment still isn't as crisp as I would like. It could possibly be the ink quality. I didn't have the right shade of brown in my name brand inks.

Supplies: Fiskars hand punch, paint chips, stickers, Swiss Dots embossing folder and a button
Here are the cards made with the remaining stamps in the set.
Supplies: Martha Stewart Holidays paper, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Offray ribbon
Supplies: Cuttlebug embossing folder, Spellbinders die, Kathy Davis Happiness collection gems
Supplies: DCWV Cotton Bloom Stack paper, Emagination flower punch

Ta daaaaaa.....I used every stamp in the set once again! Hmmmm...wonder which one will be next!
