OWH Virtual Card Making Party ~ 1

It's a Virtual Card Making Party at Operation Write Home!!! This will be a real challenge for me because I tend to think and rethink everything and finally finish a card 3 days later! So, today I am going to wing it, create the 1st thing that comes to mind and go with the flooooooow!!!
"Yes, it’s a 3-day weekend for most people and around here that means it’s time for a Virtual Card Making Party (VCMP)! To celebrate we’ve got 2 days full of fun challenges for you to participate in. Links will appear on this thread every few hours – and the challenges will be hosted by various OWH bloggers. You’ll be able to play along and upload your card to *their* inlinkz. Don’t forget to visit everyone who’s playing along, too! VCMPs are a great way to get your mojo flowing. You can visit the hostesses’ blogs and gather lots of inspiration along the way. And, be sure to leave comments to encourage the hostesses and participants!"

1st Challenge ~ Create a card with a Zig Zag pattern

Precut border strips were used for the zig zag Pattern. I traced the Spellbinders Standard Circles Small die and adhered the strips before running it through my Grand Calibur to cut the circle. I adhered the circle to the Blosson Two die cut with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment (SP & Co. Ultimate Sentiments I) with Hero Arts Hero Hues Chalk Ink - Punch and shaded with Stampabilities Pigment Ink - Pastel Yellow.

The papers are from Core'dinations Gemstone collection and wrapped with gold ribbon by Offray and green ric rac from "made in china". lol The gems were made with Viva Decor Pearl Pen - green.

On to challenge number 2 - All Creations Great & Small: Cards for Kids!! Won't you join us?
