I Believe There Are Angels Among Us Blog Hop ~

Oh I believe there are angels among us, Sent down to us from somewhere up above. They come to you and me in our darkest hours, To show us how to live, to teach us how to give, To guide us with the light of love.
When life held troubled times and had me down on my knees, There’s always been someone there to come along and comfort me. A kind word from a stranger, to lend a helping hand, A phone call from a friend, just to say I understand.

Today's hop may be the story of our own Guardian Angel who watches over us, the beauty of angels, or just expressing kind words. The craft blogging world is phenomenal as sharing loving thoughts and caring towards others.

We have fabulous sponsors today:

Lucy Kelleher, A Close to My Heart representative, has graciously offered a stamp set called "Angelic Blessings" to one lucky winner that becomes a follower of her blog!

Cards for Operation Write Home

Welcome ~ Welcome ~ Welcome

I have started to accumulate cards to send to Operation Write Home so I thought I would share a few of them with you. OWH is a non profit organization that sends handmade cards to soldiers currently deployed so they can keep in touch with their family and friends.  I have seen so many testimonials and videos from the soldiers that really warm your heart....especially when they receive a new box! Seems the cards go really quick so there is never an end to the need.   Sandy Allnock is the President and Founder and has done an amazing job! She recently received letters from the 1st and 2nd ladies of the United States commending her for the hard work and effort she has put into OWH!!! How cool is that??   Way to go Sandy!!

May have to try one of those too! Hope you have time to join in on the fun!  Supplies used:  Cricut Lacy Labels Cartridge cut at 2-1/4" TPC Studio Stamps - Dots & Stripes (ST93459) CTMH Embossing Powder - Cranberry (Z659) Peachy Keen Stamps - Wide Eyed (PK-757)
