Michele's Craft Room 1st Blogaversary Hop ~

Hello and welcome to my first blog hop in honor of my 1st year of blogging! I have participated in tons of hops and have seen so many cute ideas and new techniques so I decided to create one of my own! I consider it my diary. It's fun to look back at the projects I created a year ago and know now what I could have done differently to make it awesome!
If you don't have a blog, now is a great time to start one! It's super easy and a great way to share your talent with friends, family and www friends you make along the way! Best of's free!
For this card I used Core'dinations cardstock, Momento sentiment sticker, Ranger Liquid Pearls, Offray ribbon and pop dots. I have the worst time tying little bows. For this bow, I referred to this tutorial that I found on Pinterest.
Here are a few of my favorite projects from 2012 (clicking on the picture should take you to the post):

I still have so much to learn about crafting as well as photography but this is something I really enjoy and see many years of practice ahead of me!
I have an amazing "present" up for grabs ~ all you have to do is visit each of the blogs below, become a follower and leave a comment on each one. A winner will be chosen Wednesday 1/2/13!
Sending a huge hug and thank you to everyone that hopped with us in celebration of my 1st year blogging. It's so nice to read your sweet comments and meet some new friends along the way! I will certainly make time to visit each of your blogs in the near future. I wish I could send everyone a gift but alas, I only have one and the winner is Gail from I Like Paper! Please email your shipping address to and I will get it right out to you ~

The following ladies have graciously shared their time with me today and have some fabulous projects to share with you so lets get hoppin'!!!

Welcome Winter Blog Hop ~

Hi! Thanks for stopping in today! Hopefully, you have on your warm comfies, bunny slippers and hot cocoa in hand! Our hostess, Ashley, aka The Blog Hop Princess, has assembled an awesome group of ladies to welcome in the new season and is offering BLOG CANDY as well so be sure and start at the beginning!
We don't get much snow here in Mississippi but last year we had just enough to make everyone go crazy! I had to share the pic of the 1st snowman that my husband and I created! This was only my 2nd snowman ever so I haven't had much practice lol!
I chose to use the Cricut Sesame Street Seasons cartridge today. It started out as a great idea!
Do you see all of those little teeny tiny bits of paper? Yeah, those are supposed to somehow end up on the black base. Ok, I was still having creative fun at this point.
In the above image, do you see the itty bitty square in the upper left corner of the book? That was the finished product that I had to go by. There was no way I could see where all these bits and pieces went. But I didn't let it discourage me! The big pieces were a cinch but with each little one I added, my enthusiasm began to diminish. LOL
I began to improvise because I had come too far to turn back now! I used a Martha Stewart box, sentiment I created in Word, Puff Paint and liquid pearls.

I know you will be super inspired once you have seen everyone's projects today so I have some Winter Goodies ready to ship out!
Simply leave a comment on this post and I will announce the winner on Christmas Day right here! New followers are always welcome! Come back to see me on 12/30/12! I will be hosting my very 1st hop and there will be an amazing prize package up for grabs. Now it's time to head on over to Gaby - for more winter fun! ~~ Hope you have a crafty day ~~
WINNER WINNER WINNER: Merry Christmas to #15 Miriam ! Please email your address to and I will get your package right out!
