Cut It Up ~ Anything Goes Challenge

Welcome to the very 1st challenge from Cut It Up!! I was so excited to hear about this site that encourages you to create using your die cut machine. My sweet mother gave me a Cricut Expression for my birthday (9/11) last year. I have used it a lot but I do not consider myself an expert by any means! There are many "hit and misses" because the settings differ depending on what type of material (paper, vinyl, fabric) you are using and how detailed the image is. (I have some "cheat sheets" under the "Good to Know" tab). Cut It Up challenges will give me the inspiration to master my machine!!! LOL
This challenge is "Anything Goes" so you can make anything as long as it has a die cut on it. The challenge is open to anyone and runs from September 7-19. There is a prize up for grabs to all who link up their project and some awesome ideas from the design team which you can see here.

My grandson invited me to have cookies and milk....for breakfast....with his kindergarten class so I started a layout for his scrapbook.
Gavin and his teacher "Miss Penny"
I think it would be best to use a gel pen instead of a marker to outline. AS you can see the marker ink bled and it's just a mess....or I guess I could say I was going for the "rustic" look lol

Cricut - My World = 3"school house & 3" tree
Cricut - Plantin Schoolbook = 2" ABC & 3/4" grass
